Update #2: All NOAA-20 OMPS Nadir Mapper (NM) SDRs and EDRs (V8TOz & V8TOS) products are approved for operational use and the NCCF/PDA subscriptions for these products will be enabled at 19:00 UTC, April 11, 2025. Direct Broadcast (DB) users can use the equivalent OMPS NM Community Satellite Processing Package (CSPP) LEO products for operations.
OMPS Nadir Profiler (NP) SDRs and EDRs (V8Pro) will be enabled once additional OMPS SDR Look Up Tables (LUTs) are ingested into operations next week.
Update #1: As of April 2, 2025 at 17:03 UTC, NOAA-20 OMPS transitioned into Safe Hold mode. Engineering was able to recover it back to a nominal status on April 2, 2025 at 20:36Z. All PDA OPS subscriptions for all NOAA-20 OMPS products have been disabled until an analysis is conducted by Cal/Val teams to be cleared for use in operations.

NOAA-20 will perform a 5.0 second propulsive Drag Makeup Maneuver (DMU)
to maintain Mean Local Time of the Ascending Node while controlling Repeating Ground Track box.
The following observatory systems will be affected on April 02, 2025:
- 16:53:32Z – 19:00:40Z CERES in Contam-Safe mode, science data will not be available
- 17:04:00Z – 17:29:10Z OMPS in Decon mode, Science data will not be available
- 17:08:00Z – 17:12:24Z HRD will be off, data for direct broadcast users will be unavailable
- 17:13:00Z – 17:19:05Z N20 in Control Frame 2 (DMU) (Delta-V Control Frame)
- 17:13:00Z – 17:26:10Z N20 pointing off-nadir, collected data during that time period may be impacted and not disseminate
