REMARKS: A possible oil slick was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil.  The slick appeared to originate from the location of Destroyed Taylor platform, a source of repeat oil leaks. The anomaly extends approximately 34 nm SW and W away from the source and is measured 2.68 nm wide as its widest distance.  The anomaly shows dark appearance against the ocean background. The direction aligns well with surface wind data near the time of the image.

UNCERTAINTIES: The exact tail end extension of the anomaly is unknown due to natural phenomenon seen nearby.
