REMARKS: PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS REPORT IS BASED ON AN IMAGE CAPTURED YESTERDAY. Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly is believed to have been an oil slick that emanated from the Coimbra shipwreck since it was connected to that site. The slick was 1.5 nm long and encompassed a width of about 1 nm. The slick was well-defined, segmented, and black with a small, white section of thicker oil near the source. The orientation of the slick was supported by winds from the WSW at the time of the image. Wind speeds were about 8 kts. 

UNCERTAINTIES: Since the anomaly was connected to a repeat leak source and exhibited the characteristics of a marine oil slick, there was no uncertainty that the anomaly was oil.
