This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly consisted of two parts. The larger part to the east was 31nm long and 2 nm wide at its widest part. The smaller part to the west was 6nm long and 2nm wide. The anomaly was dark in appearance, and had a large contrast to its grey surroundings. The wind at the time was from the south at 10kt, which aligned well with the feathering features at the south side of the anomaly. The anomaly was located about 98nm from Eureka, CA. There were no known point sources nearby. UNCERTAINTIES: No point source could be determined.
