REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was approximately 16.75 nm in length and approx. 0.50 nm in width. It was about 108 nm SW from San Diego, California. The dark colored anomaly had high contrast against its homogeneous surrounding. It also exhibited feathering. Winds near the time of the image were coming from the W between 5-10 kts.



UNCERTAINTIES: The was no visible point source in the satellite image.
