REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The total length of the anomaly was about 18 NM long by about 0.75 NM wide at its widest point. There were several turns and the anomaly contrasted well with its background. Additionally, the anomaly is suspected to have emanated from the Destroyed Taylor Platform. Winds were out of the SSE at 10 to 15 KT at the time of the image. Due to the above circumstances we have HIGH confidence in this assessment.

UNCERTAINTIES: Due to areas of convergence and other striations near the anomaly, its true extent may have encompassed more area.
