This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick appeared to originate from the location of a known ship wreck (Wreck 1487), a source of repeat oil leaks. The anomaly was measured 1.84 NMI long and 0.06 NMI wide. The anomaly extends NNE from the point source. The anomaly shows a dark colored contrast against the ocean background in high resolution imagery outside of sun glint.
