REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was slender and linear in shape.The dimensions of the anomaly were approximately 16.29nm in length and 0.17nm at its widest point. There were a cluster of oil facilites to the east of the anomaly, but none were directly connected to the anomaly. The anomaly was dark in color and had a high contrast with the surrounding waters. At the time this image was taken winds were SE at 10kts, which aligned well with the orientation of the anomaly. 


UNCERTAINTIES: We could not specify an exact point source so the marker was placed near the oil facilities to the east. There was also a possibility that the anomaly was related to biogenic features. Therefore, our confidence was kept at Medium-High.
