REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick had a strong and dark contrast to the surrounding environment, was mainly linear in shape, and had areas of brighter returns, which are indications of thicker oil. The slick was approximately 3.02nm in length, and approximately 0.47nm at the widest point. Winds near the time of the image were out of the NW at 5kts.



UNCERTAINTIES: No point source could be identified as there were multiple oil platforms within the vicinity of the slick. Additionally, no reporting of this slick was identified, so these factors limit our confidence to Medium-High for this report.
