REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The possible oil appeared to emanate from the location of Wreck 1487, a known shipwreck and repeat leak source. The anomaly extended northeast before turning west to west-southwest, with a total length of approximately 3.6 nmi and a width up to 0.40 nmi, widening with distance from the suspected source. It had a dark, distinctive appearance compared to the rest of the image, with sharp edges. Winds at the time of the image were from the NNW at about 10 kts.

UNCERTAINTIES: Given the distinct appearance of the anomaly and the known repeat leak nature of the suspected source, there are no uncertainties.
