REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The possible area of oil appeared to originate near the site of the Destroyed Taylor Platform in the Mississippi Canyon area. The anomaly measured approximately 1.23nm in length and up to 0.03nm in width. The area was linear in shape and appeared brighter in contrast to the surrounding ocean. Winds at the time were generally light and variable. Due to the proximity to a known repeat leak source, the confidence in this report is High. 

UNCERTAINTIES: Due to cloud cover in the area, the full extent of the anomaly could not be determined.
