REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly appeared to emanate northwestward from the site of Wreck 1487, a known repeat source. The anomaly measured approximately 3.5 nmi in length, and up to 0.25 nmi in width, and had a distinct, dark appearance against its background. Winds at the time of the image were from the S at around 12 kts.

UNCERTAINTIES: The anomaly edges were not particularly well-defined. Still, the repeat leak nature of the suspected source allowed for high confidence that this was oil.
