REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was observed being connected from an oil platform, potentially its source. From the oil platform, the slick extended 2.43 nmi to the Northeast and was 1.73 nmi in width. The slick had strong contrast with the surrounding water and demonstrated characteristics associated with oil such as feathering around its edges. Winds at the time of image were from the Northeast at 10 knots. Due to the collaborating elements, Confidence was determined to be High.
