REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick was about 4.52 NM long and around 5.98 NM wide at its widest point and had good contrast with its background. Metallic sheens were also observed, indicating thicker oil. Additionally, the slick correlated with recent NRC reports #1407472 and #1407482. Numerous oil facilities were in the region, but a point source could not be determined. Feathering aligned well with the winds which were out of the NNE at 10 KT at the time of the image. Considering the above factors, we have HIGH confidence in this assessment.

UNCERTAINTIES: It is highly likely that this is the same anomaly observed in NRC #1407482. What makes this report unique is that it provides the user a true color image of the slick.
