REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil.The slick was about 3.37 nmi long and around 0.7 nmi wide at its widest point and had good contrast with its background. Numerous oil facilities were in the region, but a point source could not be determined. Feathering aligned well with the winds which were out of the SE at 10 KT at the time of the image. Considering the above factors, we have MEDIUM-HIGH confidence in this assessment.

UNCERTAINTIES: The anomaly was observed in close proximity to the coast, which would normally rule it out as a false positive. The presence of oil platforms in the area mitigates this, raising the confidence to MEDIUM-HIGH.
