REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was in the Green Canyon area offshore Louisiana with a bright white signature throughout, clearly distinguishable from natural phenomena. The anomaly extended for approximately .4 NM to the NW of a possible point source facility and 1.9 NM to the SE, totaling 2.3 NM long and .3 NM at its widest. Winds were from NE at 7 kts.

UNCERTAINTIES: The entire anomaly was bright white, making it difficult to identify any areas of possibly thicker oil if present.
