This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was approximately 2 NM long and extended to the northeast of the apparent point source, the destroyed Taylor platform in the Mississippi Canyon area off Louisiana's coast (MC20). The anomaly was dark and feathered at the far end, and slightly wider, about .1 NM across. The anomaly was bright white and tapered towards the source, characteristic of possible thicker oil. Winds were from the south at 12 kts. UNCERTAINTIES: None.
