This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. This oil slick showed strong contrast to the ocean background. It appeared in dark color in the optical imagery. The size of the slick was approximately 24.8nm long and 0.18nm at its widest. The surface wind was about 12kt. from the SSE. UNCERTAINTIES: The source of the leak could not be identified, thus the confidence was medium-high. Part of the slick was obscured by weather clouds.
