REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The horizontal slick was believed to be associated with NRC #1433519. It was approximately 3 nm long and approx. 0.06 nm wide. The shimmery colored slick had a thick white color towards the western end, which indicated the presence of relatively thicker oil. It was distinct from natural phenomena and had high contrast against the surrounding ocean surface. Winds near the time of the image were coming from the SSW at 10 kt.

UNCERTAINTIES: After seeing this slick a second time this week, there was more confidence that it's possibly emanating from a nearby pipeline instead of the oil facility or well that are also in the vicinity.
