VIIRS I-band Active Fire Product

The VIIRS Active Fire products derived from the VIIRS I-band measurements are based on hybrid thresholding and contextual approaches that build on the heritage of the MODIS Fire and Thermal Anomalies algorithm, but including modifications and additional processing elements to account for VIIRS sensor characteristics.
