THROUGH 1520Z June 25, 2025
SMOKE: Alaska/Canada/Western and Eastern United States/Atlantic Ocean/Northwest Territories... Wildfire activity across Alaska and northwestern Canada continued to generate light to medium density smoke, which spread from Alaska and western Canada across the continent into the Atlantic. Smoke moved offshore and south, with some circling back toward the east coast of the United States and accumulating across the southeast. The heaviest density smoke was observed drifting across the Northwest Territories from the wildfires in the northeastern corner of British Columbia. Southwestern United States... Fires in southwestern Utah produced light to moderate density smoke that was observed traveling northeast up to Manitoba. The smoke continued east, merged with widespread smoke from Canada and Alaska, and moved toward the Atlantic.
