Suspension of POES Data

NOAA will end delivery of all data from the Polar Operational Environmental Satellites (POES) constellation (NOAA-15 and NOAA-19) on June 16, 2025 at 18:00 UTC. Further information please visit the notice update. Full recovery of the NOAA-18 S-Band transmitter and its functionality is not possible. Based on NOAA’s requirement to responsibly manage on-orbit assets, NOAA will decommission NOAA-18 on June 6, 2025 between 1733 and 1749 UTC.
